He has been married to his wife Jessica for 3-1/2 years. They have a daughter, Kadence, who just turned one year old in September and a son Cameron born in November 2007. He takes pleasure in spending time with his family. Born and raised in Lewis County, Chad enjoys fishing and playing softball. He also coaches the River Valley basketball team.  Chad is a loyal Mets fan and likes to watch the games with his daughter.
